Breakthrough Outreach Ministries (BOM)

Mission

Breakthrough Outreach Ministries helps the most vulnerable create better life outcomes.

History

In 1995, Breakthrough Outreach Ministries (BOM) began as a coalition of people whose hearts were devoted to reaching out to the hurting, lost, and spiritually deprived. The original mission was to break through the walls of oppression depression, drugs, alcohol perversion, suicide, unforgiveness and any other strongholds in the lives of people. From 1995 to 2000, BOM’s founders traveled the Texas prison circuit speaking to prisoners in an effort to curtail recidivism. In 2000, they founded Breakthrough Outreach Ministries Praise & Transformation Center, a judgment free zone for the reentry community. BOM’s success stories are it’s biggest supporters.

In 2012, Breakthrough’s Board of Directors revised the mission statement to increase capacity.
